My Media Consumption.

My media consumption. Newspapers I do not read newspapers regularly. When I do, I turn to the pages that are featured n the front cover. I usually do not read sections that include the UK government. I usually read stories about crime or tragedies, I find it very interesting and I get engaged in the stories. The newspapers I read are usually free ones that you can pick up. I do not look for online versions of newspapers online.  Magazines I do not buy magazines regularly. The last time I bought a magazine for myself was over 2 years ago. However, I have read magazines that my mum has brought home. When I would read them, I would read the celebrity section or news section. I don't usually avoid sections.  Television I do not watch television often but if I do, I would only spend 10.5 hours a week and 1.5 hours a day watching it This is because the only time I watch it is at dinner time with the family; which is usually around 5;30/6 pm. First blog task

First blog task I chose A level media studies because I did it in GCSE and I found it very interesting  I took GSCE media studies in Greenford High School.  When i did GCSE media, i achieved a grade 7. The coursework that we had to do was a Sci-Fi drama that was to be 2 minutes long.  In A-Level Media, I hope to achieve an A*. If I achieve a good grade in A-Level Media, I would want to do an apprenticeship in media.  In my opinion, the biggest media story in 2020 has been Black Lives Mater (BLM). The whole world came together to protest against police brutality and systematic racism towards the black community. I use Twitter and Tik Tok to find out about news and current affairs. The last film i watched was Venom  My two favourite TV series are American Horror Story and Black Mirror.  I spend quite a lot of time on my phone and social media. Sometimes, social media educates me in topics that i have never heard about or, it will boost my knowledge on things I already know.
